PupManager

Daycare software for trainers who do both

Plenty of trainers run a daycare alongside the training, and end up running it out of a separate diary because their training software has no idea what a day part is. PupManager holds both, on the same client list, in the same set of figures.

Built around a day, not an appointment

A daycare day is not a booking, it is a set of parts somebody books into: a morning, an afternoon, a full day. Set yours up once and clients book them on a rolling basis rather than one appointment at a time. The week board shows you every dog in every part, so "who have we got on Thursday" is a glance rather than a count.

The day itself runs off the same screen. Check dogs in as they arrive and out as they go, print the roll if you would rather have it on paper, and a discount for the regulars who take four days a week is a rule rather than a sum you do in your head.

What PupManager deliberately does not do is the kennel side. There is no overnight boarding, no runs, no grooming diary. If that is the bulk of your business, a facility platform will suit you better, and we would rather say so now.

Is this you?

  • Trainers running a daycare alongside classes and 1:1 work
  • Day-only daycares that want the training side too
  • Businesses selling daycare in blocks of days rather than one at a time
  • Anyone keeping daycare in a separate diary from everything else

Frequently asked questions

Is PupManager daycare software?

It does daycare, and it is built for dog trainers. If you run a daycare alongside your training that is exactly the gap it fills: bookable day parts, rolling bookings, a live week board, check-in and check-out, a printed roll, discounts, reports and a booking page you can put on your own site. If daycare is the whole business and you also board and groom, a facility platform will fit you better.

Does PupManager handle overnight boarding or kennels?

No, and that is deliberate. There are no kennel runs, no overnight stays and no grooming diary. Keeping those out is what stops the rest of the software turning into a facility system with a training module bolted on.

Can I sell daycare in blocks of days?

Yes. A package bundles days into one thing a client buys in one go, and you and the client can both see how many are left. Regulars who take several days a week can have a discount applied as a rule rather than something you work out each time.

How do I know who is allowed to collect a dog?

Each dog carries a list of the people who may collect it, with how you know them — the owner’s mum, the walker, the neighbour. It is meant to be read at the door, which is why it holds the relationship and not just a name.

Can clients book daycare themselves?

Yes. You publish a booking page for it, share the link or embed it on your own site, and clients book the day parts you have made available. You choose whether a booking is confirmed straight away or waits for you to approve it.

Do my daycare clients use the same app as my training clients?

They do, and that is the point of running both here. One client record, one app, one set of figures. A client who does Tuesday daycare and a Saturday class is one person in your list, not two.
